The Poshan Project Kot Bhalwal teamed up with Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre and the Government Ayurvedic Hospital to launch a free health initiative on September 1, 2025. The event, marking the beginning of the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, focused on essential themes such as addressing obesity and promoting local nutrition practices.
What Happened During the Health Camp
The special program featured several engaging activities. Inaugurated by Sh. Sher Singh, the Additional District Development Commissioner of Jammu, the event also welcomed Special Guest Swami Yajnadharananda Ji and Sh. Pankaj Anand, District Programme Officer of Mission POSHAN Jammu.
Attendees participated in a range of activities including expert speeches, a ‘Swasth Balak Pratiyogita’ competition, and the creation of vibrant Rangoli art. Additionally, health checkups and free distributions of medicines were provided during the event.
