On September 30, Sat Sharma, the President of J&K BJP, accused the Congress, National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and other parties of indulging in opportunist politics that hindered the growth of Jammu and Kashmir and the country. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Namo Exhibition at Gulshan Chowk in Bandipora, Kashmir, Sharma condemned the INDI alliance for its alleged betrayal of the people.
The event, part of the ongoing Seva Parv celebrating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, saw notable attendance from J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretary Arif Raja, and District President Bandipora Mudassir Farooq Jan, among other senior leaders.
During his address, Sharma launched a scathing attack on the INDI alliance partners, including Congress, NC, and PDP. He claimed that these dynastic parties have thrived on nepotism and corruption for decades, pushing Jammu & Kashmir into a state of despair while they basked in power. According to Sharma, their self-serving politics deprived the youth of opportunities and left them with shattered dreams.
In contrast, Sharma praised Prime Minister Modi for transforming India and Jammu & Kashmir through unprecedented development, transparency, and accountability. He emphasized that since 2014, the Modi government has dismantled the barriers of corruption, leading to significant infrastructure growth, economic reforms, and social upliftment. His vision for a ‘New India’ exemplifies the stark differences between the empty promises of the INDI alliance and the tangible results achieved under Modi’s leadership.
Anwar Khan echoed Sharma’s sentiments, stating that the exhibition not only commemorates Modi’s milestones but also reflects values like sacrifice and vision, which stand in sharp contrast to the corruption associated with the INDI alliance. He remarked, “While they symbolize betrayal, we display the fruits of leadership and integrity.”
Mudassir Farooq Jan also highlighted Modi’s leadership as a pivotal force that has given Jammu and Kashmir a new identity on the global stage. He assured that the BJP is committed to spreading awareness about these achievements at the grassroots level.
